It monitors opening and closing of doors, windows and cabinets, and helps keep the system responsive with tamper protection, low battery detection, and supervision signals.

What makes this model particularly useful is the built-in external input. That means it can also work as a universal transmitter by connecting a compatible wired dry-contact device, giving you more options when a standard magnet position is not practical or when you want to bring an existing contact into the VESTA ecosystem.
