The VESTA® VESTA-402 is a garage door tilt sensor designed to work with the VESTA-220 garage door controller. It mounts directly to an up-and-over garage door and reports door status based on tilt, helping the system distinguish open, closed and in-motion positions.
Within a VESTA installation, this adds confidence to automation and security routines because the system can confirm the door’s actual state, not just that a command was sent. Tamper protection and supervision behaviour help maintain system integrity over time.
